Christopher P. Katers


Christopher is a partner and founding member of Judge Lang & Katers, LLC, with significant experience and background in complex commercial litigation.  Christopher’s experience includes:  Financial Institution and Lender Liability matters; CMBS loan restricting, recapitalization and litigation; Civil Rights – In Custody Death; as well as shareholder derivate suits and corporate and commercial litigation.  He was also heavily involved in fraud litigation recovering funds on behalf of a group or retirees.  Christopher’s unique background includes a business and finance education, which allows him to approach legal matters from a different point of view.

Christopher provides immense experience in researching and briefing complex legal issues.  He has experience arguing complex legal issues in both state and federal court.  His attention to detail and comprehensive analyticskills assist the firm and our clients in arriving at successful and unique legal strategies that fit the needs of the individual client.  Christopher dedicates a large amount of his time working with Mahany Law in the Lender Liability Practice as well as the firm’s Civil Rights Litigation Team.  Christopher’s practice takes him to all regions of the United States.
